3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

6. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: If you use Google or Apple to log in, we receive profile information from them. If you don't sign in, we create an anonymous account to save your progress.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party account details (like your Google or Apple logins). We use this information only to create and manage your account.

Anonymous Sessions: If you choose not to sign in with a social account, the app will create a temporary anonymous session to enable you to use the app's features. We recommend that you review your social media provider's privacy notice to understand how they handle your data.

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Your data is stored both in the cloud and locally on your device.

Data Storage Location & Local Data: Your data, including your profile, journal entries, and progress, is stored both locally on your device using your operating system's native data storage features and synchronized with our cloud infrastructure (Supabase). When you terminate your account, we will take steps to delete your personal information from our active databases within a reasonable period.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
